An aerial photovoltaic power generation device has a suspended connected body unit formed by suspending a connected body between upper ends of a pair of column bodies standing opposite to each other. Multiple suspended connected body units are positioned in parallel at intervals, and a solar panel part for generating power by collecting sunlight is erected between the adjacent connected bodies. The solar panel part is flat or sheet-like to form a space extended downward in the solar panel part in order to cool the solar panel part by winds. As a result, the light collection efficiency of sunlight and power generation efficiency of sunlight can be secured well so that the solar panel part can last longer.
