Abstract:
To provide an agent for preventing purple blotch of lawn, capable of preventing the purple blotch generating on lawn, especially on bent green in a cold season from late autumn to winter and provide a method for preventing the purple blotch by using the purple blotch preventing agent.
The agent for preventing purple blotch of lawn contains a near ultraviolet absorbing agent absorbing near ultraviolet rays of 300-400 nm wavelength (excluding iron oxide and zinc oxide). The invention also provides a method for preventing the purple blotch of lawn by using the purple blotch preventing agent.
