Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an agricultural film capable of manifesting excellent anti- fogging persistence, transparency, tear strength and tensile strength, useful for covering materials for forcing cultivation in agriculture by including a specific filler and an anti-fogging agent in specific ratios into a specific ethylene based copolymer.
SOLUTION: This agricultural film includes (A) 100 pts.wt. of an ethylene-α- olefin copolymer [e.g.; obtained by polymerizaing ethylene and an α-3 to 18C olefin copolymer using a metallocene catalyst, having a melt flow rate of 0.1 to 50 g/10 minutes, a density (D1) of 0.88 to 0.928 g/cm3, an extrapolated end of melting temperature of the melting peak obtained by differential scanning calorimetry (Tem) of 50 to 130, and satisfies the relation of Tem≤286D1-137], (B) 0.05 to 1 pt.wt. of a basic magnesium carbonate of the formula: nMgCO3.Mg(OH)2.mH2O ((m) is 0 to 3; (n)is 3 to 5), and 0.1 to 5 pts. of an anti-fogging agent (e.g.; a nonionic, an anionic or a cationic surfactant).
