PURPOSE: To prevent deformation of small holes in a retainer mounting part by interposing a synthetic resin film of high strength of polyester film or the like between an air bag main unit cloth and a reinforcing cloth, and stitching the film to the main unit cloth and reinforcing cloth.
CONSTITUTION: Between an inflater side cloth 1 (main unit cloth) of an air bag and a sheet of reinforcing cloth 6 superposed together in this inflater side cloth 1, a sheet of biaxial oriented film 7 of polyester in 0.07mm thickness is interposed and sewn by stitches 8 to the inflator side cloth 1 and the reinforcing cloth 6. In these synthetic resin film 7 and reinforcing cloth 6, a retainer bolt riveting small holes 5 are formed by punching simultaneously with small holes 5 of the inflater side cloth 1. Deformation can be decreased or prevented in the small holes 5 in a retainer mounting part 4.
