Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an air classifier in which treating capacity of classification is enlarged without making large a stepping motor and the freedom of arrangement of the stepping motor is high.
CONSTITUTION: In an air classifier in which plural waste gas flow passages are formed in a branch-off manner on the outlet side of a raw material selecting chamber by a classifying edge 3 whose standing angle is adjusted by a stepping motor 20 and a raw material to be classified jetted from a raw material feeding nozzle into the raw material selecting chamber is classified to the concerned waste gas flow passage by flying drop action formed into a curve corresponding to particle diameter by Coanda effect, an output shaft 23 of the stepping motor 20 and a rotating shaft 19 of the classifying edge 2 are connected through a lever mechanism 33 for weaking the transfer of a load acting on the classifying edge 3 to the output shaft 23.
