Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a membrane separator with high cleaning effect which is equipped with a cleaning means for regenerating a membrane without interrupting the filtration of raw liquid.
CONSTITUTION: In a membrane separator in which a cylinder 2 is arranged in a closed container 1 with an inlet 1a and an outlet 1b for raw liquid, a metal filtration film 3 is fixed on the outer surface of the cylinder 2, a radial through hole 2a is formed in the cylinder 2, and an outflow opening 2b for the raw liquid is formed by making one end of the cylinder 2 penetrate the closed container 1, a power source 4 applies positive and negative potentials the closed container and the filtration film 3, respectively, and voltage is applied periodically between the closed container 1 and the filtration film 3.
