To prevent clogging of drain piping in an air conditioner, a drain up kit for the air conditioner and an air conditioning system, where drainage water is force-fed by a drain pump.

This air conditioner comprises the drain pump 8 discharging the drainage water generated in a heat exchanger 5, and a refuse separator 10 connected with a downstream side of the drain pump 8. The refuse included in the drainage water discharged from the drain pump 8 is removed by the refuse separator 10 disposed at a downstream side of the drain pump 8, though it flows out to the drain piping 15 disposed outside of the machine with the drainage water in a conventional one. Thus the clogging at a trap of the drain piping 15 disposed outside of the machine can be prevented. Further as the downstream side of the drain pump 8 is connected to the drain piping conventionally, the refuse separator 10 can be comparatively easily disposed at the downstream side of the drain pump 8.
