To provide an apparatus for compressive dehydration of washed plastic that ensures compactness, low operational noise and a high dehydration effect.

The apparatus for compressive dehydration of washed plastic comprises a drum 20 having a long cylindrical shape and many drain holes in a bottom surface, a helical rod mounted in the drum 20, a drive device 40 attached to one end of the drum 20 and drivable to rotate the helical rod, a discharge port positioned at the other end of the drum 20, and a charging port 23 positioned on the drum 20 nearer to the drive device 40. The helical rod is driven for rotation in the drum. The rotation of the helical rod feeds washed plastic in the drum 20 from the charging port 23 to the discharge port as compressing the washed plastic to separate attached moisture, which is discharged from the drain holes.
