Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of the heating capacity caused by the liquid refrigerant stored in a stopped indoor unit when the indoor unit is located lower than an outdoor unit in an air-conditioner for multiple rooms in which a plurality of indoor units are connected to one outdoor unit, and a heating expander for each indoor unit is connected to a refrigerant circuit.
SOLUTION: A thermistor to detect the storage of the liquid refrigerant in an indoor coil of a stopped indoor unit during the heating operation is provided. When the thermistor detects the storage of the liquid refrigerant, the expander is controlled so as to increase the opening thereof. The thermistor is preferably provided to detect the temperature of pass parts other than the lowest pass part.
