SOLUTION: The air-conditioner for switching a four-way valve 3 to the reverse position during the heating operation and performing the reverse cycle defrosting operation by allowing a refrigerant discharged from a compressor 1 to flow in an outdoor heat exchanger 5 in the cycle reverse to the heating operation cycle in which the reverse cycle defrosting operation comprises the windless defrosting operation while stopping a fan of an indoor heat exchanger 19 and a wind defrosting operation while operating the fan of the indoor heat exchanger 19 comprises a means to stop the operation of the compressor 1 for a predetermined time while keeping the four-way valve 3 in a reverse position after completing the reverse cycle defrosting operation, a means to return the four-way valve 3 to the heating position after the elapse of this time, and return the operation to the original heating operation by starting the compressor 1, and a means to change the predetermined time according to the windless defrosting operation or the wind defrosting operation.
