PURPOSE: To prevent frosting at a utilization side heat exchanger during a cooling operation at each of seasons and further to prevent abnormal vibration and noise generated at the time of low rotation of a compressor by a method wherein a discharging pipe of the compressor is provided with a discharging pressure adjusting valve for keeping a discharging pressure higher than a predetermined value.
CONSTITUTION: A discharging pipe 10 of a compressor 1 is provided with a discharging pressure adjusting valve 11 for keeping a discharging pressure of the compressor 1 higher than a predetermined value. A bypassing pipe 12 is connected in parallel with the discharging pressure adjusting valve 11, and the bypassing pipe 12 is provided with a capillary tube 13. This discharging pressure adjusting valve 11 is opened when the discharging pressure becomes higher than a predetermined value. When the discharging pressure adjusting valve 11 is closed, refrigerant gas discharged out of the compressor 1 passes through the bypassing pipe 12 and the capillary tube 13 and flows out. Accordingly, this capillary tube 13 is set to have such a size as a minimum amount of circulation of the gas can be assured. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to prevent frosting at utilization side heat exchangers 4A, 4B and 4C in response to an abnormal reduction of high pressure.
