In the transverse flow fan provided in a thin personal computer main body such as a notebook size one and a lap-top type one, a wind guiding plate 16a extending from a stabilizer casing 16 is set integrally or separately almost as high as the upper end of an impeller to define an air discharging direction, and another wind guiding palate is also provided on the air discharging side of a guide wall casing making a pair with the stabilizer casing to generate wide and short parallel air current and to thereby cool a heat generation member such as the CPU with high efficiency.
