Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide good air-fuel ratio control performance even in a high rotation high load operating region with air-fuel ratio feedback control difficult by an O2 sensor.
SOLUTION: When an engine operating region is in a high rotation (NE >NEH) or high load operating region (Tp>TpH), a target exhaust temperature TEXS set based on correlation of an exhaust temperature TEX and target air-fuel ratio is compared with the exhaust temperature TEX, a second air-fuel ratio feedback correction coefficient α2 is set (S27 to S34). By the second air-fuel ratio feedback correction coefficient α2, a basic fuel injection amount set at high rotation high load operating time is corrected, the final fuel injection pulse width relating to an injector is set.
