Abstract:
To solve the problem that although an intake amount of air needs to be increased to improve fuel economy of an engine, an engine with a turbocharger needs to control an intake amount in coordination with a rotation speed of the engine.SOLUTION: In an air intake device 10, an intake duct 5 takes in air from the outside, an air cleaner 7 cleans the air taken in, and a turbocharger 20 compresses the cleaned air and supplies the compressed air to an engine 4. A generator 33 is connected to a rotational shaft 23 of the turbocharger 20. The generator 33 converts the rotational force of the rotational shaft 23 of the turbocharger 20 into electric power. The intake duct 5 is provided with a blower 30 that increases an amount of air taken in. An electric motor 31 of the blower 30 drives the blower 30 with the electric power of the generator 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
