Abstract:
To provide an air-jet loom weft insertion device capable of stably inserting weft in a weft traveling path by restricting air blown to an opening side of the weft traveling path.SOLUTION: A weft insertion nozzle 20 of an air-jet loom 1 has a main nozzle 22 and an inductive nozzle 60 that is disposed in parallel with the main nozzle 22 and injects air toward an inlet 41a of a weft traveling path 41. Inductive nozzle air injection start timing at which the inductive nozzle 60 starts injecting air is earlier than main nozzle air injection start timing at which the main nozzle 22 starts injecting air. Consequently, air blown to an opening side of the weft traveling path 41 is restricted and weft 11 can be stably inserted in the weft traveling path 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
