To provide an air valve for a tire and a blowout repairing method, capable of restraining clogging of a blowout sealant of adding a pressure sensitive adhesion applying agent, a particle or short fiber in the air valve.
This air valve 20 is composed of a valve stem 29 and a valve core 21. The valve core 21 has a movable part 21a being a cylindrical body or a bar-shaped body movable in the direction of the rim wheel side opening end 29b and the hose connecting side opening end 29a, and a cover body part 21c arranged in an end part of the movable part 21a on the rim wheel 11 side and blocking up the rim wheel side opening end 29b when the movable part 21a moves to the hose connecting side opening end 29a; and has a passing hole 21b for passing gas or liquid by projecting from the rim wheel side opening end 29b when the movable part 21a moves to the rim wheel side opening end 29b.
