Abstract:
To provide an air valve for a tire capable of restraining clogging of a puncture sealant of adding a pressure sensitive adhesion applying agent, a particle or short fiber in the air valve.
This air valve 20 for a tire has a connecting part 29c for connecting a connecting hose used when injecting gas such as pressure air or liquid such as the puncture sealant into a pneumatic tire; and adjusts outlet-inlet of the gas. The size of clearance in the air valve for passing the gas or the liquid, is set to 1.5 mm or more, desirably to 2.0 mm or more, and further desirably to 2.5 mm or more.
