PURPOSE: To enable a user to surely recognize that an alarm is generated for itself by designating the classification of the alarm generated by an alarm generating means in accordance with user information for identification of the user by an alarm control means.
CONSTITUTION: An alarm control means 2 causes an alarm generating means 3 to generate the alarm of the specific classification corresponding to user information by an alarm request signal S1 supplied from the external. The alarm generating means 3 can generate alarms of plural classifications different in musical interval, tone color, or the like. Consequently, the alarm of the classi fication specified by user information 4 is generated by the alarm generating means 3 in accordance with the alarm request signal S1, and alarms correspond ing to individual users are different from one another though plural users simul taneously use plural alarm devices 1 ( terminal equipments) of the same classifi cation. Thus, the alarm device 1 which generates the alarm is discriminated to prevent the user from erroneously recognizing the alarm.
