Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the cathode material thin and light, by winding or laminating an Al anode foil and electrode paper through a separator paper; the electrode paper having a conductor deposited and/or coated on at least one side of the separate paper.
SOLUTION: A capacitor is manufactured by depositing Al on one side of a separator paper 2, fixing Al tab terminals 4 to the deposited side with a C paste tightly by a caulking method to form an Al anode foil, facing this foil at a depositing face of a cathode, winding them through the paper 2 to form a capacitor element, impregnating the capacitor element with an org. electrolytic soln., inserting the element in an Al armor case, together with a rubber seal and aging it. The cathode material is an Al cathode foil but made by depositing Al or Ti nitride or coating a C material-contg. rubber on at least one side of the paper 2.
