An AM-AM distortion generator 1 comprises a coupler 2 having an input port 2a, an isolation port 2b, a first output port 2c, and a second output port 2d, a first antiparallel diode 3a connected with the first output port 2c, and a second antiparallel diode 3b connected with the second output port 2d. The coupler 2 outputs a signal, which is input to the input port 2a, to the first output port 2c and the second output port 2d, and outputs signals reflected from the first antiparallel diode 3a and the second antiparallel diode 3b while synthesizing from the isolation port 2b.
