Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a gene fragment coding a human α2-plasmin inhibitor precursor protein having a specific amino acid sequence and useful for diagnosis, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A cDNA of an α2-plasmid inhibitor containing 1,209 nucleotides and coding 403 amino acid sequence from the carboxy terminal of a human α2-plasmin inhibitor was separated and the precise structure of the carboxy- terminal side of human α2-plasmin inhibitor has been clarified by the analysis of the base sequence of the cDNA. It is a gene fragment coding a human α2-plasmin inhibitor precursor having an amino acid sequence of from the -29th (Met) to the 452nd (Lys).
