Abstract:
To provide an amphibian motor car which can suppress occurrence of overheat by cooling a travel internal combustion engine at the travel on the ground.SOLUTION: An amphibian motor car comprises: a vehicle body 4 which includes an engine space 13; travel means 6 for land travel; propulsion means 8 for underwater propulsion. The travel means 6 comprises: a travel internal combustion engine 14 which is stored in the engine space 13; and a radiator 20 for cooling cooling water of the travel internal combustion engine 14. In relation to the travel internal combustion engine 14, cooling water jetting means 72 is provided on an upstream side of the radiator 20. The cooling water jetting means 72 is operated on the basis of the travel internal combustion engine 14 and its ambient temperature to jet the cooling water to the upstream side of the radiator 20. The cooling water jetting means 72 may be operated with a manual operation by looking at temperature display of a water temperature meter of the travel internal combustion engine 14, or may be operated automatically on the basis of a detection temperature of temperature detection sensors 82, 84.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
