Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: it is difficult to employ vessels using conventional outboard engines, including the type of water jet propulsion, in situations such as a flood disaster anticipating mud water, low water depth, or underwater projections; and it takes time to bring a rescued person onto land since such vessels cannot directly make a landing.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by using a vessel capable of travelling on both water and land by means of a paddle blade integrated with a driving wheel. In addition, the risk of damage in the case of coming into contact with a projection underwater is lowered by the paddle blade having flexibility and a turning radius is also made smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
