Abstract:
To provide a new variant of parent Termamyl-like α-amylases.
With reference to a variant (mutant) of parent Termamyl-like α-amylases, the variant has α-amylase activity and exhibits altered stability, in particular at high temperatures and/or at low pH, and/or at low Ca2+ with regard to the parent α-amylase.
