Abstract:

To analyze metal or metal compound contained in the inside of a fuel cell from the outside of the fuel cell.SOLUTION: An analysis system (100) for a fuel cell (10) comprising an electrolyte membrane and a pair of electrodes on both sides of the electrolyte membrane comprises: a spectrometer (30) for irradiating the electrolyte membrane or electrodes with laser light from the outside of the fuel cell (10) to measure strength of light emitted by the electrolyte membrane or electrodes; and a diagnostic device for analyzing metal or metal compound contained in the electrolyte membrane or electrodes on the basis of a measurement result of the spectrometer (30).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
