Abstract:

To provide a metal-complex-containing crosslinked polymer composition which exhibits an excellent function as e.g. a polymer catalyst in virtue of the anionic metal complex contained therein, does not undergo precious metal elution, and can be repeatedly used as a catalyst.

The metal-complex-containing crosslinked polymer composition is a crosslinked cyclic-quaternary-ammonium-salt-structure-containing polymer carrying an anionic metal complex. In an embodiment, the metal-complex-containing crosslinked polymer composition is a crosslinked cyclic-quaternary-ammonium-salt-structure-containing polymer carrying an anionic metal complex and is characterized in that it is a polymer having a degree of crosslinking of below 10 mol%.
