PURPOSE: To simplify the structure and to enhance the efficiency of an annular magnetic field type electromagnetic fluid apparatus by forming a closed loop-like magnetic field in a conductive fluid, and employing the closed magnetic field as an external magnetic field generator of an electrode fluid apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A toroidal coil 24 is bundled at upper and lower ends of annular passage. The outside for connecting the annular passage of the inside for connecting with a generator side header 36 with a generator side passage 3 and a pump side header 35 is used as a pump side passage 2. An external magnetic field 20 exists circumferentially in the passages 2, 3 by the coil 24. Conductive fluid in the passage 2 undergoes a downward force to flow, and the conductive fluid in the passage 3 an upward force to flow.
