Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a positive electrode material for an electricity storage device having high discharge capacity, by efficiently forming a carbon-containing layer.SOLUTION: A method for producing a positive electrode material for an electricity storage device includes: (1) a step of mixing inorganic powder containing at least one element selected from Li and Na, at least one element selected from among Si, P, Al and B, and O, and a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin to obtain a mixture; and (2) a step of forming a carbon-containing layer on an inorganic powder surface by subjecting the mixture to heat treatment.
