To previously avoid increase in parts count and to freely control a maximum gain angle of a directional pattern.
In an antenna apparatus 1, a radiation element 2 and an antenna ground 4 are held by a dielectric 3 which is originally arranged to cause a line of electric force to easily pass through between them and to contribute to miniaturization of the device itself, and the radiation element 2 and antenna ground 4 have a prescribed tilt angle with respect to a circuit board 5. The increase in the parts count can previously be avoided, and the maximum gain angle of the directional pattern can freely be controlled without enlargement of the device itself by arbitrarily controlling the tilt angle θ in the device different from a conventional device where the radiation element 2 is held by an antenna seating and a bracket.
