Abstract:
To provide an antenna configuration for a UHF band RFID system, the configuration being downsized and simple and having no blind zone in which a reading distance is remarkably reduced.SOLUTION: An RFID reader side antenna and an RFID tag side antenna are configured using board type helix antennas 10, 10A, respectively. The respective board type helix antennas 10, 10A have: a board surface 1A, on one side of a board 1, on which a first coupling part pattern 5 comprising a coupler 3 in a loop shape segmented by a gap and feeding points 2A, 2B joined to respective ends on the gap side of the coupler 3 is formed; and a board surface 1B, on the other side of the board 1, on which a second coupling part pattern 9 composed of second couplers 6A to 6F having a multiple structure segmented by a gap at a position opposite to the coupler 3 and a plurality of helix antenna elements 8A to 8L joined to respective ends on the gap side of the second couplers 6A to 6F is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
