Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize the antenna driver driving a directivity antenna with an axial rotation function with miniaturization, light weight and at a low cost and to mount the driver to an artificial satellite.
CONSTITUTION: The driver is provided with a disk member 11 connecting to a drive shaft 12(3) to control the posture of an antenna and an actuator 13 giving a torque with a piezoelectric element provided to part of a circumference facing it. The actuator is made up of an expansion/contraction section 14 using a 1st piezoelectric element 14a arranged along the circumferential direction of the disk member and expanded/contracted in its tangential direction and clamp sections 16, 17 using 2nd photoelectric conversion elements arranged to both ends of the expansion/contraction section and clamping alternately the disk member and with a control section 20 applying a voltage to the piezoelectric elements.
