Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the compatibility of automatic accompaniment data in an automatic accompaniment device.
CONSTITUTION: An automatic accompaniment is conducted by the section accompaniment data corresponding to the sections such as main, introduction, full-in and ending sections and their variations. The section markers indicating sections and variations are added to source patterns and they are made into the section accompaniment data. Plural sets of section accompaniment data are arranged in the order of priority of the variations, style names are added and they are made into the automatic accompaniment data. The data are supplied in terms of files. The automatic accompaniment data having the style specified by the style specification are stored in a memory. Then, an automatic accompaniment is conducted by selecting the section accompaniment data corresponding to the section and the variation specifications. If the specified section accompaniment data do not exist against a section switching specification, the data are switched to other section accompaniment data on the basis of the order of priority of the variation information.
