Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial ceramic filter having high corrosion resistance and high selectivity of an antibacterial effect with high efficiency without causing dropping of an antibacterial agent.
SOLUTION: This antibacterial ceramic filter is produced by baking and treating an inorg. silver-based antibacterial agent on the whole surface of a porous ceramic filter as a base body. The porous ceramic filter, which has ≥20% porosity and ≤500 μm pore diameter, is produced by forming and calcining ceramic particles such as aluminum oxide using an inorg. binder. The obtd. filter has a high antibacterial effect and can be used even in a corrosive atmosphere. The filter does not cause dropping of the antibacterial agent. Thereby, the antibacterial effect can be effectively obtd. for bacteria even in corrosive gas or liquid.
