Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color printing simulation device which can recognize a printing color and a dot and moire based on the color even if the output object of press plate or the like is generated.
SOLUTION: Binary dot bit map data DB of four editions, which are RIP (raster image processor)-developed in an RIP processing part 51, are converted into display image data DG where data of the same picture elements in respective editions are made into one group in an image data conversion part 52. Display image data DG are converted into R(red)/G(green)/B(blue) luminance signals by a color table 62 reading display color setting data for the respective editions which are set through an indication input part 7 and they are displayed in a state that the dot images of the respective editions are overlapped by a color CRT 63. Thus, the printing color, and the dot and moire based on the color, can be recognized by the printing color.
