Abstract:

To provide compounds, pharmaceutical compositions and methods, for treating microbial infections.SOLUTION: There is disclosed, a compound for treating microbial infections, for example, a compound having a following structure. The compounds can potentiate therapeutic effects of one or more antimicrobial agents when co-administered. The compound has an anti-virulence property. A pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier are also provided. The pharmaceutical composition can further include at least one antibiotic, such as, gentamicin, amikacin, kanamycin, neomycin, spectinomycin, neamine or any combination thereof, or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: None
