To provide an apparatus for detecting the delivery of a seeder tape by detecting the rotation of a side plate of a seeder tape delivery detection apparatus and generating alarm, etc., when the rotation of the side plate is judged to be stopped.

At least one detection plate 21 for the detection of rotation is placed on a side plate 11 of a seeder tape reel 10. A proximity sensor 22 is placed at the side of a seeding machine rotatably supporting the seeder tape reel 10 and a position viewing the rotation path of the detection plate 21. A signal showing the failure in the delivery of a seeder tape is generated by a judging circuit 25 when the output of the proximity sensor 22 is unchanged over a predetermined period. An alarm is generated by an alarm generator 28 according to the signal showing the delivery failure.
