To provide an apparatus for detoxifying a ceramic sheet which can incinerate a waste ceramic sheet safely without eluting chromium oxide contained in the sheet as hexavalent chromium, does not cause environmental pollution even after the sheet is left in a treatment site, and can make the sheet be used as a recycled raw material for cement and a building material.

A first cooling filling layer (9) and a second cooling filling layer (11) are connected to each other and arranged below the outlet (6) of a fixed furnace body (1) which has a rotary furnace bed (2) and in which an inlet (3) is formed in the upper part, and a heating burner (4), a plurality of heaters (5), the outlet (6), and a discharge plate (7) are arranged in the rotational direction of the rotary furnace bed (2) in turn from the inlet (3), and a carrying-out apparatus (12) is installed approximately below the second cooling filling layer (11).
