Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for opening/closing a door of a case provided with an upward opened door capable of simply, securely maintaining an opened state of a door body even in a use of a gas spring for helping the door body open and having no obstruction in loading or unloading of an object in a box type case having a housing space inside a case body and the upward opened door body on an upper part of the case body.
SOLUTION: A back edge of the door body 2 is rotatable by a hinge 3. The gas spring 4 of which a lower edge is pivoted inside a side plate part 7 of the case body 1 is introduced upward through a lengthwise slit 8 formed on the upper face of the side plate part and the upper end thereof is pivoted on a middle part of the door body. Stopper means 5 are provided in proximity to the lengthwise slit for retaining movement of the gas spring in the forward direction of the slit when the door body is opened upward.
