PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elimiante use of plural clamp arms or clamp cylinders to simplify structure, and change clamping pressure to a workpiece without performing unclamping action to the workpiece.
SOLUTION: A clamp arm 37 is installed on an upper end (in Fig.1 on the surface side) of a clamp cylinder 39 through a ball joint 43 to be capable of oscillation. On a tip of the clamp arm 37, a claw main body 47 is provided through an oscillation support shaft 49 to be capable of oscillation. On the claw main body 47, three clamp claws 53 are provided to press an upper surface of a workpiece W downward (to the back side in Fig.1) for clamping it. As retraction action is conducted by the clamp cylinder 39 to lower the clamp arm 37, the claw main body 47 is oscillated around an extended direction of the clamp arm 37 by the ball joint 43, and it is also oscillated in a perpendicular direction to above around the oscillation support shaft 49, thereby pressure to the workpiece W by the three clamp claws 53 is equalized.
