An apparatus 7 for feeding the core yarn is used to unwind the core yarn D from the core yarn package and feed the core yarn to a prescribed position of the drafting apparatus. The apparatus is equipped with a compressed air jetting part 71 for unwinding the core yarn D with compressed air and feeding the core yarn to the downstream side and a core yarn lead-out part 73 for leading the fed core yarn D to the prescribed part. A discharge spatial part 72 for discharging a part of the compressed air from the compressed air jetting part 71 to the outside so as not to disorder the fiber arrangement of the drafting apparatus is provided between the compressed air jetting part 71 and the core yarn lead-out part 73.
