To provide an apparatus for efficiently crushing bamboo containing bamboo leaves and twigs on a bamboo forest site and manufacturing bamboo powder inexpensively.

This apparatus for manufacturing the bamboo powder is composed of a casing 3 fixed on a frame 2, a rotation disk 4 which is stored in the casing 3, is rotatably pivoted around a horizontal shaft center, has a pair of slender openings 41 formed on a position in point symmetry with respect to the rotation shaft center in one diagonal line direction and has a cutting blade 42 fixed on one side opening and a cover body 5 which opens and closes a front opening of the casing 3, is formed of a charging opening 5a facing the opening 41 of the rotation disk 4 and a discharging opening 5b facing the corner part containing the end part of the opening 41 of the rotation disk 4, respectively, and is provided with a charging hopper 51 on the charging opening 5a and a discharging hood 52 on the discharging opening 5b. Therein, bamboo supplied from the charging hopper 51 is cut into a chip shape by a cutting blade 42 and, at the same time, the chip shape bamboo heaped on the under part is crushed by applying shocks and is discharged with air from the discharging hood 52.
