To provide an apparatus and a method of manufacturing a coated wheel having a coating film.

The manufacturing apparatus 1 of coated wheels is used to manufacture a coated wheel 100 which comprises a nearly annular rim part 102, a hub attachment part 101 arranged on the rim part 102 on one end face, or the first end face 120, and spoke parts 103 formed so as to extend radially from the outer periphery of the hub attachment part 101 with one end of the spoke parts 103 connected to the vicinity of the first circumference part 102a on the first end face 120 of the rim part 102 and has a coating film on the surface. The apparatus has the first induction heating unit 2 arranged close and opposite to the first end face 120 of the wheel 100 whose surface is applied with a coating for formation of the coating film and a relative position modifying mechanism capable of changing the position of the first end face with respect to the first induction heating unit.
