To provide a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of a chemically modified biomass nanofiber dispersion liquid, and a method for producing a chemically modified biomass nanofiber, which can simultaneously perform a chemical modification step and a defibration step of biomass in one step.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus 100 of the invention includes: a raw material tank 10; a low pressure pipe 80 for circulating a dispersion fluid containing biomass and a reagent for chemically modifying the biomass; a liquid supply pump 20 for supplying the dispersion fluid to a low pressure pipe 80; a pressure intensifier 40 for pressurizing the dispersion fluid; a high pressure pipe 90 for circulating the dispersion fluid pressurized by a pressure intensifier 40; a collision chamber 60 for causing the dispersion fluid to collide with a hard body for collision or collide with each other by a high pressure injection treatment; and a heat exchanger 70 for cooling the dispersion fluid, wherein the low pressure pipe 80 is provided with a low pressure reactor pipe 81 between the collision chamber 60 and the heat exchanger 70, and the high pressure pipe 90 is provided with a high pressure reactor pipe 91 between the pressure intensifier 40 and the collision chamber 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
