PURPOSE: To improve the operating efficiency, energy saving, etc., by constructing a device so as to enable the confirmation, display or color printing in an optional part of a textile weave in simulating a preparation of a front surface design pattern in a fiber or yarn dyed dobby woven fabric.
CONSTITUTION: The preparation of a surface design in a fiber or yarn dyed dobby woven fabric is computerized. In the process, data for designating the color, thickness, order of arrangement, number and density, etc., of yarn for the textile weave and construction system of the woven fabric are previously inputted and memorized. In simulating a fabric design image, the yarn is divided into small areas and the respective coefficients for each small area are memorized to compute the color of the small area corresponding to the textile weave and color and thickness of the yarn. The number of colored yarns from which the fabric design data to be developed are developed through a color printer corresponding to the results of color computing and an output from a masking treatment means is designated to construct the pattern preparation so as to enable the partial printing. The fabric design image is added based on the prepared weave and arrangement data to display the image on a color CRT.
