Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a seaming data for stitch sewing from an arbitrary image data to give an easily processable sewn product having inconspicuous jump yarn.
SOLUTION: An image data read out according to an image-dividing program stored in a dividing program storage apparatus 3 is divided into plural sections arranged in a longitudinal and lateral lattice by a cpu 1 composed mainly of a micro-computer. The suitability of the execution of sewing is judged for each section according to the program stored in an execution judging program storage apparatus 4 and the stitch pattern is selected based on the direction of stitching performed according to the stitch patterns stored in a stitch pattern storage apparatus 6 and a program stored in a stitch pattern selection program storage apparatus 5, the judgement whether the section is the first section or the last section of the line or the judgement whether the section is a single section of the line or not. The total seaming data is produced by the program of a seam-producing program storage apparatus 7 and stored in a memory apparatus 8. The data stored in a memory medium such as an IC card is mounted on an embroidery machine to perform the embroidery sewing work.
