Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the operation frequencies of feeders and eventually to achieve a high weaving speed.
CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for selecting wefts 30 for a weaving machine and feeding the wefts to a weft feed mechanism 31 is constituted by directly connecting the feeders 3 to eccentric drives 6 which have the eccentric route corresponding to the route of the feeders between at least their rest and feed positions. Each feeder is provided with a means 14 for compensating the transverse motion of the eccentric drives 6 different from the forward and backward motions of guides 12 and the feeders 3.
