PURPOSE: To reduce the irregularity of transfer quantity by automating work, by a method wherein the outer ring of a bearing being held is positionally matched with a rotary body through a moving mechanism and both of them are rotated relatively to perform transfer.
CONSTITUTION: The inner ring of a bearing is held by a bearing holding unit 2 and the roller of a rotary body 6 is rotated by definite quantity by a drive motor 5. The bearing holding unit 2 is moved to an X-direction by a moving mechanism 4 not only to perform the positional matching of the outer ring of the bearing with the outer peripheral surface 8 of the rotary body 6 but also to press both of them by a press mechanism 3. By this method, only the outer ring of the bearing is rotated to start transfer. If the bearing rotates several times, said bearing is moved to the X-direction at a constant speed in parallel to the rotary shaft 13 of the rotary body 6 by the moving mechanism 4 and the outer ring of the bearing is separated from the outer peripheral surface 8 of the rotary body 6.
