Abstract:
To provide an applicator capable of reducing time and labor of distributing coating material samples.
The applicator 1 includes a coating material mold 3 made of a molded solid coating material, a cylindrical case 5 for housing the coating material mold 3, and a driving mechanism 10 for driving the coating material mold 3 in the cylinder axial direction of the case 5 so that the tip of the coating material mold 3 protrudes/retracts from the tip of a container. The coating material mold 3 includes a coating material body part 3a, and a sample coating material part 3b located at the rear of the coating material body part 3a and made of a coating material different from that of the coating material body part 3a.
