Abstract:
To provide an aqueous emulsion-type pressure-sensitive adhesive that has excellent initial adhesiveness at normal temperature, adhesiveness after being allowed to stand for a long period of time and excellent initial adhesiveness under a low-temperature condition.
The aqueous emulsion for this purpose comprises a copolymer obtained by subjecting a monomer mixture (100 pts.wt. of the total amount) of 2-35 pts.wt. of ethylene, 1-97 pts.wt. of a 8-15C aliphatic carboxylic acid vinyl ester and 1-97 pts.wt. of a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester to emulsion polymerization.
