PURPOSE: To enable the application of an arm lift device to a heavier container, and to downsize the device by shortening a tilting member, and connecting an expansion cylinder device inside of the tilting member to a guide unit inside of the tilting member, and fitting an arm member of the front end of the guide unit freely to move forward and backward in the axial direction of the tilting member.

CONSTITUTION: An arm member 8, from which an arm part 82 is projected, is provided in the front end of a guide unit 81 housed inside of a tilting member 2, and a rod 91 of an expansion cylinder device 9 fixed inside of the tilting member 2 is connected to the guide unit 81. At the time of pulling up a container, a tilting hydraulic cylinder device is operated to reversely rotate the tilting member 2 an obliquely direct the arm part 8 downward, and a hook 83 is locked with the container. Continuously, the tilting member 2 is turned for reset, and the guide member 81 is housed inside of the tilting member 2 by the expansion cylinder device 9, and since the tilting member 2 is shorter by the length of the guide member 81, load of a tilting cylinder device 5 is reduced.
